Detroit City Council Rejects Mayor Dave Bing's City Employment Terms To Cut Employee Pay

DETROIT, MI --Some call it an attempt at union-busting; others call proposed cuts to Detroit public employee pay and benefits prudent and necessary if Detroit wants to survive outside bankruptcy and emergency financial management.

City Council did not pass the cuts Tuesday, but that doesn't mean they won't be implemented by other means.
