HuffPost TV's review of the miniseries, which stars Sigourney Weaver as a Hillary Clinton-inspired secretary of state with a complicated family, was just one of many generally positive reactions to the series.
"Political Animals" premiered to less-than-stellar ratings -- by USA standards. The six-part drama's Sunday night debut attracted 2.6 million viewers, slightly less than the Season 5 premiere of "Breaking Bad," although both shows were beat out by A&E's new detective drama "Longmire."
Will "Political Animals" be done for good after its six-episode run, or will USA revive the drama down the road? Looks like we won't know until all the votes are in -- five episodes from now, that is.
"Political Animals" airs Sunday nights at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
