If a person has prayed to God for a certain positive outcome to a situation, and they receive that outcome, then what is the problem with the fact that they want to credit God for this outcome? Really, what is the issue here?

Why? It's simple, the ones that do, believe that everything on this earth is predestined and they are thankful for every victory, every morsel of bread and every day of life. One the other hand, the Ted Baxter type and glorious ones, think that they achieved that place in life just by their pure self. :)
