'America's Got Talent': Cristin Sandu's Balancing Act Comes Tumbling Down On Live TV (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

Anything can happen with a live performance, and that includes the possibility of things going terribly wrong. Drawing inspiration from a tattoo of his deceased mother on his chest, circus performer Cristin Sandu had an impressive balancing act building on "America's Got Talent" (Tue., 8 p.m. ET on NBC), but it all quite literally came tumbling down.

There wasn't much more Sandu could do in that moment, but accept that things had gone wrong. Still, it was an impressive stunt up to that point, and he's certainly had success in previous rounds.

Howie Mandel tried to give him encouragement in defeat, even leading the judges in a standing ovation for Sandu's efforts. But Gossip and Gab thinks the slip will mark the end of Sandu's journey with the show.

Find out as "America's Got Talent" continues its summer run, Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
