Florence Welch, 'GMA': Florence And The Machine Singer Talks Vocal Cord Injury, Losing 3 Octaves (VIDEO)

WATCH: Florence Sounds Flawless After Serious Vocal Injury

Florence Welch, the flame-haired frontwoman of Florence + The Machine, appeared on “Good Morning America” Wednesday to promote her latest single -- and current UK No. 1 -- "Spectrum."

During the segment, Welch opened up about her recent vocal cord injury, which caused her to cancel a few of the band's gigs in Europe last weekend. At the time, Welch apologized to her fans and Welch tweeted, "I cannot sing for a week... seriously I felt something snap, it was very frightening."

Welch told Robin Roberts that she lost "about three octaves" in the aftermath of her injury and had to sing in a lower register to get through the show.
