Carly Rae Jepsen is back and cuter than ever in the music video for her single "Good Time," which is a collaboration with the electronica group Owl City.
The 26-year-old pop star follows up her smash-hit, "Call Me Maybe" with this song about, well, having a good time: The video features Jepsen cruising around in a Fiat and wearing a distressed denim jacket, dropping her phone in the pool, waking up at twilight, those kinds of things.
Owl City's Adam Young described the combination of his band with Jepsen as something of "magic."
“This song really felt like a duet and if it wasn’t for anybody than Carly Rae it wouldn’t be half as magical,” Young of Owl City told Fuse. “I knew I wanted a strong female lead for it and her name popped up and all of a sudden it was magic. Now that it’s finally done, I can’t believe it actually happened.”
"Good Time" will be the lead single on Owl City's The Midsummer Station, which will be released on Aug. 21 on Universal Republic, according to Billboard. The song will also be featured on Jepsen's second album, reportedly due out in September.
The Canadian singer's "Call Me Maybe" still reigns at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after 21 weeks.
It's Carly Rae Jepsen's world, we're all just living in it.
