A North Carolina man should count his lucky stars that he isn't in the doghouse this week after a hilarious, yet frightening prank he played on his sleeping wife.
Manny Perez and his wife, Sabra, were on their way to the airport to pick up her family when -- while she was fast asleep in the passenger seat -- he spotted a tow truck pulling another truck from behind.
"There's a truck getting towed, and it looks like it's coming at us and my wife's asleep," Manny Perez said on the video, which he uploaded to his YouTube page, TheMannyChannel.
"We're going to see if we can scare her," he added.
Perez positions his vehicle directly behind the tow truck and yells out, "Babe, wake up there’s a truck..." but before he can finish the sentence his wife screams out in horror.
It only takes Sabra Perez a few seconds to figure out the head-on-collision she had envisioned was a prank and she playfully swats the camera before her husband stops filming.
"Her reaction was priceless," Manny Perez wrote on his Youtube page.
The video, which was uploaded on Sunday, already has more than 30,000 views.
No word yet on whether Sabra Perez plans to take another catnap in the family cruiser. The Perez family did not immediately respond to a request for comment from HuffPost.
