Lindsey Norton, Acrobatic Dancer, Gives Incredible Last Performance On 'America's Got Talent' (WATCH)

Acrobatic Dancer's Stunning Last Performance (VIDEO)

In a surprising turn of events, acrobatic dancer Lindsey Norton's talent-show stint came to an end last night when she was eliminated from "America's Got Talent." But while she may not have earned the votes she needed to move on, the 16-year-old performer still has a whole lot of people back home who are rooting for her.

The Pinellas, Florida teen gave an impressive last performance in the quarterfinals round of the show before getting booted in what has been called "one of the tightest eliminations ever." Norton's friends from school and her dance studio gathered at a restaurant in Tampa to watch the show and cheer her on.

Check out the video above to see friends and family comment on Norton's talent, and watch the clip below to see her full performance from the quarterfinals.

Norton may not have won the show -- or the $1 million prize -- but she's become a hometown hero back in Florida, and she has nothing but positive to say about her experiences.

"It was so amazing," she told host Nick Cannon about her time on the show. "It couldn't have been any better."
