London Olympics 2012: Small Businesses Going For The Gold

Small Businesses Going For The Gold With Olympics Products

Even if you're watching the glory ofthe 30th Olympic Games in the most non-athletic position on your couch at home, that doesn't mean you can't get in the Olympic spirit. Small businesses are offering some cool products and gear to help you express your pride for the games and your country.

Though rules on using certain logos or words associated with the Olympics can inhibit designers and third-party companies, small businesses everywhere still reap the consumer benefits of the Olympics fever. From limited edition iPhone cases to handcrafted Olympic-themed Etsy creations, companies and designers are capitalizing on the worldwide event. London's economy is projected to make upwards of $19 billion in revenue from the event -- and although it's across the pond, American small businesses hope they'll see a piece of that pie.
