With Dwight Howard reiterating his wish to be traded, multiple league sources predict the Orlando Magic will again step up efforts to find their All-Star center a new team.

At this point the Magic are so screwed with having to deal with Dwight "I'm a Cancer" Howard, to the hiring of Jacque "WHO" Vaughn. Yeah, that's the way you show Dwight you're serious about being competative this season. Really, he showed more promise than Brian Shaw or the local guy at the barber shop? Shaq saw the writing on the wall and has nothing to do with them.
They should change their names to the Orlando Train Wrecks!

Howard could have saved himself a lot of time by allowing the Magic to trade him at the trade deadline
That way he would have been a free agent and could have done his own bidding
but it makes you wonder they they offer him something before that trade deadline and they didn't follow through on it

They deserve what the market bares. I bet you're a super free enterprise guy except when it comes to athletes and their salaries. Reese Witherspoon doesn't reserve to make 20 mil. permovie just to recite something someone else wrote for her but she does because thats what the market for her services bares.

These guys have made themselves into the worlds top athletes through work ethic and preparation that most can't fathom. Fans pay to watch and the be a percentage of the revenue that the whole system earns. The factually goes against you saying the don't deserve what they get. They actually deserve exactly what they get.

Hockey pay is staggering because they can't land a network deal and is now a neanderthal sport that used to be appreciated by a larger audience. 1/4 million dollar baseball contracts are staggering. They hit about times a game and getting out 2/3 of the time means your great. 80% of the time they are sitting or standing idle.

The CEO That recently got paid 80 mil for a days work is what's staggering.

Lastly the attempt to belittle an entire league sas more about you than the league you're trying to belittle. Howard is acting like a brat indeed but at 6'10 270, we both know you could never say those words in his presence.

Yup. Hate the way he's doing it and he's ruining his branding possibilities but I see where he's coming from. I'm all for taking your destiny in your own hands. These guys are businesses I their own rights. At some point these contracts are gonna become more and more player friendly. Remember an owner can wake up one morning and decide to trade a player while pouring a cup of coffee just cuz.
