I just want to point out that the "violent clash with the police" was started by the police. Showing up to a peaceful protest in riot gear, as if they were being deployed to Afghanistan, was ridiculous and unwarranted. Shooting people at close range was blatantly the wrong choice. The videos taken at the scene clearly show the crowd was dispersing and following directions from the "authorities" and yet they were fired upon. Perhaps a little more homework is in order to report fully on this blunder by the police.

People are getting tired of every bit of land being repurposed and destroyed to create energy like this..I would be p8ssed if someone tried to displace me to put in a damn...and those indians who did not agree and will probably never see a dime have a right to be angry...the cowards of the energy boards and the elected officials think themselve above the common folk as witnessed by their nice little yacht ride...once again proving the hubris of the power brokers of both nations...and to be pepper sprayed and shot with plastic bullets for protesting injustice on fuels discontent over the right to free speach on matter that concern the nation are once again abridged in favor of corporations...The founders never envision this garbage when they set forth to create this nation
