With Latinos accounting for more than 50.5 million (0r 16 percent) of the U.S. population, according to the latest Census numbers, Hollywood has developed a fascination with the Latino community--and in particular, La La Land seems to be fascinated with the Spanish language.

An increasing number of celebs are speaking Spanish these days in movies, on television shows, and in their music. But it's not the Spanish we all know and love, or even the Español we all understand. No, señor! Hollywood has discovered that audiences find it funny (scratch that, hilarious!) when people speak really bad Spanish, so when Español is used in movies or on television, it's often used to achieve comedic effect.
