Couric Steps Out With New Beau

Katie Couric has a new man in her life, The New York Post reported on Tuesday.

The former "Today" co-host is apparently canoodling with financier John Molner, head of mergers and acquisitions at Brown Brothers Harriman. The couple stepped out together on Saturday to attend the Ellen Hermanson Breast Cancer Benefit. Though the two were not photographed side by side, sources told the Post that they were clearly attending the benefit together.

Couric's new relationship comes more than six months after she split from her former boyfriend, Brooks Perlin. Despite a 17-year age difference between them, Couric and Perlin dated for five years. Couric lost her husband to colon cancer in 1998.

It's a busy time for Couric, whose daytime talk show "Katie" debuts in September. Couric recently told critics that her show will be "smart with heart."
