How many months were you at the time of the shoot? Seven months
Boy/girl/it's a surprise? It's a girl! Her name is Kai Elizabeth-Ann Winbush.
Mom, how did you tell him you were pregnant?
My husband actually told me I was pregnant while we were at church. This was one week prior to us taking a pregnancy test. I didn't believe him. But a positive pregnacy test proved he was right!
Dad, what were your first thoughts when you heard the news?
I was shocked, excited, scared, and a little nauseated. I immediately wanted to tell everyone.
What are you looking forward to most about being a mom and dad?
Tiffany: I'm looking forward to giving my daughter a relationship with her father that I never had while growing up.
Amos: I'm looking forward to seeing her little face, smelling her skin and watching her stretch and yawn. I'm excited to teach her how to read and ride a bike--and going to tennis matches together.
What's your biggest fear about parenting?
Tiffany: My biggest fear about parenting is breastfeeding!
Amos: I'm already thinking about our daughter growing up and going off. But I'm not afraid to raise a child. She's daddy's little girl. I'm already attached to her.
What's the worst advice you've gotten about being pregnant? Best advice?
The worst advice I've received about being pregnant is that if it's a girl, expect a pointy belly and if it's a boy, expect a basketball-shaped belly. The best advice I've received is to enjoy being pregnant and letting others pamper me for nine months.
What message do you want these photos to relay to your daughter to be?
We want these photos to relay that she's loved, we were excited to welcome her and that she'll always have the support of her mother and father.
