The editors of Vanity Fair's 2012 International Best-Dressed list must have been in an "Empire State of Mind" when compiling this year's honorees--both Jay-Z and Alicia Keys scored spots among the world's most stylish stars.
While the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, topped the list for the third year in a row, it was the first time we've seen Jay-Z and Alicia mentioned.
And we can't say we're surprised. Jay-Z has definitely stepped out in some dapper duds this year--ranging from impeccably tailored suits to trendy skinny jeans and tees.
Alicia's string of appearances in chic curve-hugging dresses has clearly caught the attention of the international fashion community, too. It also helps that the Grammy Award-winning singer has become a front-row fixture during Fashion Week, and we can't stop gushing over her fabulous new haircut.
Here's a rundown of the other multicultural style standouts that made VF's 2012 Best-Dressed list:
Victor Cruz; wide receiver for the New York Giants
Ozwald Boateng; fashion designer
Farida Khelfa; actress, director and ambassador of Schiaparelli
Iké Udé; artist
Fan Bingbing; actress
