This week, in light of even more news of business owners turning away gay business and writing truly shocking things about the LGBT community, we found ourselves struggling with a question that many fighting for civil rights have had to ask. So we turned to our Twitter family to get some input:

huffpostgay
When businesses say upfront they don't want our business, should we fight them about it? Or be thankful we know the truth & avoid?

We got a flurry of responses. Many calling for both, while others saying that the power of the wallet is enough to curb bigotted businesses. With today's "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day" in full swing (sigh), we're still wondering what's the best approach in situations like this. What do you think? Check out the responses we've shared below and let us know what your take is. What's better? Fight or just avoid?
