Craft Of The Day: Make A Wood Grain Rug With Spray Paint

Today's Craft Of The Day certainly puts a unique spin on the ordinary floor rug. We think if we laid this one from A Beautiful Mess in our entryway, it would be sure to catch the eyes of entering house guests.

This faux bois floor decor is quirky and definitely creative: It's made by cutting out a paper stencil in a wood grain swirled-shape and spray painting over it onto a small rug or mat. Who would have thought that something so simple would look so professional? We're glad we can make something just as cute as the more pricey versions we often come across in home decor stores! For a full tutorial on how to make this floor mat and other great crafts, head over to A Beautiful Mess.
