Forget Instagram! There are much more profound ways of sharing your iPhone snapshots.

One of those ways is through the LA Mobile Arts Festival.

The 9-day festival doesn't just promote new words like "iPhoneography" and "iPhonic." It's a venue for all kinds of iPhone art, from photography, to film, to sculpture. While the submission deadline just passed, you'll have plenty of time to go and enjoy the art show, which takes place at the Santa Monica Art Studios. It runs from August 18 to the 25th.

Cell phones are definitely allowed.
