Macaulay Culkin was spotted for the first time since the National Enquirer alleged in last week's cover story that the former child star was addicted to heroin and prescription pills.
The 31-year-old was among the 100 guests at Natalie Portman's wedding to Benjamin Millepied on Saturday evening in Big Sur, Calif.
An insider told Us Weekly that Portman and Culkin have been "friends for years," and he was seen spending time with the actress and her son, Aleph, in New York City back in February.
Culkin's appearance at Portman's wedding may help put to rest rumors that the former "Home Alone" star is battling a deadly drug addiction. On Aug 1, reps for the actor denied the Enquirer's story, calling their claim "categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious."
The tabloid, however, is standing by their story and hit back by posting a statement on their website, encouraging Culkin to seek professional help. The magazine also revealed that relatives of Elijah Rosello, a friend of the actor's, confirmed to them that Rosello did drugs with Culkin before her drug-related death in March.
