• Suri Cruise

Private school in, homeschooling out. After filing to divorce Tom Cruise in June, Katie Holmes enrolled 6-year-old Suri at Avenues, an exclusive private school set to open this fall in Holmes' Chelsea neighborhood. Sources told Life & Style magazine that Suri is "really excited" about starting her new school, where yearly tuition costs nearly $40,000. But don't expect to see Suri in her usual kiddie couture when she hits the classroom. The school's dress code requires students to wear uniforms -- a policy that lines up well with Holmes' reported decision to put the kibosh on the lipstick, designer clothes, and high heels Suri is often spotted wearing.

  • Coco Arquette

Eight-year-old Coco Arquette has had some time to get used to her parents' breakup. Mom Courteney Cox and dad David Arquette filed for divorce in June 2012, but they had been separated for nearly two years before making the split official. As the new school year approaches, we're guessing Arquette and Cox will continue to put up a united co-parenting front for Coco's sake, whether attending dance recitals together or fielding her questions about why they split.

  • Christian, Colin and Gavin Nassif

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif announced their split in late July -- right on the cusp of back-to-school time. But the couple's three boys, Gavin and twins Colin and Christian, shouldn't be too worried; both Maloof and Nassif have said they plan to prioritize their sons' well-being. "I want the best for her and our children and I hope that everyone can respect our privacy away from the cameras," Nassif told TMZ.

  • Roman Zelman

Debra Messing filed to divorce husband Daniel Zelman in early June, but the couple plans to "remain best of friends and fully committed" to raising their son, 8-year-old son, Roman (pictured above with mom and famous friend Mariska Hargitay and her son, August). One place Zelman and Messing can expect to meet up this coming school year? School performances. Messing has said Roman caught the acting bug last school year. "He was Peter Pan last week at school so it's terrifying to me," Messing told OK! in January 2012. "He was brilliant!"

  • Lily-Rose And Jack Depp

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis' 14-year relationship ended in June, though many sources said that over the last few years, the pair had often lived at difference addresses -- Depp in Hollywood, Paradis in France. What does the split mean for their two kids, 13-year-old Lily-Rose and 9-year-old Jack, and their schooling? The Depp kids attended a school in Los Angeles in 2011, but there's been no word yet on whether they'll be going to class in France or in L.A. this year.
