It pays to fist pump. While we all know DJ "Pauly D" DelVecchio, he of immovable spiky hair fame on "Jersey Shore," loves to be behind the turntable, we were surprised to learn that he rakes in $11 million a year doing so, according to a report in Forbes magazine published last week. That makes him the seventh richest DJ in the world, behind superstars like Tiesto, Skrillex, David Guetta and Deadmau5.
Now the 32-year-old is waxing poetic about his newfound status to the New York Daily News, telling the paper that he's financially modest because he's had the same jeweler since age 16, and sharing the following words of wisdom: "They say that success changes a person. I say it changes the people around you. They don't know how to act around you." We say Pauly D should stick to his day job.
