Playboy HQ Beverly Hills: Brand Moves Headquarters To California (VIDEO)

Expect to start seeing even more breast implants in Beverly Hills -- Playboy has come to town.

The legendary girly mag and brand (officially known as Playboy Enterprises, Inc.) has moved its global headquarters to the city after decades in Chicago, reports the Beverly Hills Courier. The fact that it took the corporation so long to come to the LA area is surprising, since the Playboy Mansion, that famous site of revelry and indulgence, has been a Holmby Hills mainstay for years. Furthermore, Playboy has had offices in Beverly Hills, Glendale, and Santa Monica, according to the Beverly Hills Courier and ABC.

The entire City Council celebrated the move at the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, reports Patch. Playboy CEO Scott Flanders made an interesting and perhaps ingratiating impression when he stated to the Beverly Hills Courier, “If Hef could rewrite his life, he might have started it right here in Beverly Hills. Beverly Hills is obviously the most glamorous place in the universe.”

Then again, if you inked a sweet deal with a city that gave you 45,000 square feet of office space, you might be pretty complimentary too.
