'Storage Wars': 1600s Hand-Painted Map Worth 4x What Darrell And Brandon Paid (VIDEO)

Darrell and Brandon were feeling pretty good after only spending $230 for a unit on the latest "Storage Wars" (Tue., 10 p.m. ET on A&E). When they started rummaging through their purchase, they came across several vintage-looking prints. One stood out in particular from that group ... enough to have them take it for appraisal.

It was a good-sized map of Transylvania that looked to perhaps be even older than the other prints. When they took it to an expert on all thinks Dracula, he confirmed its age. But it wasn't a print at all -- what the guys had was a page from a book printed in the late 1600s, and a hand-painted map.

The expert appraised the map at about $1,000, which alone was four times what they spent. But all told, the guys netted just over 10 times their investment. A good day at auction indeed.

Keep up with "Storage Wars" by turning in every Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on A&E.
