Ryan Lochte's future reality TV career has been quite the talk as of late. The Olympic swimmer has said he'd appear on both ABC's "The Bachelor" and "Dancing with the Stars." But what if he had to choose?
Lochte appeared on "Good Morning America" (weekdays, 7 a.m. ET on ABC) with fellow swimmer Conor Dwyer and said he'd choose to put on his dancing shoes over giving out roses.
"It's a competition and I have that competitive edge in me," Lochte explained. Lochte's teammate Michael Phelps also said he'd be interested in "Dancing with the Stars," Us Weekly reported. Maybe they can duke it out on the dance floor instead of the swimming pool.
Despite Lochte's decision, a media expert told HuffPost that "Ryan would make the perfect next 'Bachelor' ... He has the 'it' factor. Especially after his mother's one-night-stand comment, everyone wants to know who is the real Ryan and what would it be like to date him. Forget dancing shows -- this guy should be doing dating shows, for sure."
Since Lochte is also reportedly in talks to develop his own reality TV show, the "GMA" host also asked him what it would be like. "It wouldn't be your normal reality TV show because I'm definitely not your normal guy," Lochte said.
