Jon Stewart Mocks Conservative Freakout Over 'Priorities USA Action' Ad (VIDEO)

On Thursday night's "Daily Show," Jon Stewart was a little frustrated with the tepid rivalry between President Obama and Mitt Romney. Between "Romney Hood" and "Obamaloney," the buildup to election season seems more geared toward pun-making than gritty politics.

But, hark! On the horizon! Could it be? An arguably-inflammatory ad that might spark some of that campaign tension we all love and miss?

Stewart was on the edge of his seat, ready for Fox News to pounce on the ad's suggestion that Romney doesn't care about women with cancer. Unfortunately, the news network was far too focused on freaking out over Romney spokesperson Andrea Saul's off-cause PR to notice. Opportunity to slam Obama: missed.
