If you ever spent an inordinate amount of time in your middle school cafeteria trying to open your exasperatingly stubborn milk carton, you're not alone.
A video posted on BoingBoing via the website Nothing To Do With Arbroath shows a man who was, apparently, a high-ranking official of an Austrian government organization that marketed the virtues of milk. It looks to have been sometime in the 1980s. While attempting to demonstrate on television how to open recently-introduced milk cartons made of wax and cardboard, things took an all-too-predictable turn for the worse.
Like so many frustrated grade schoolers that were to follow him, the man just can't seem to get the darn thing open. Be sure to watch all the way through the end for the hilarious conclusion.
