'The Walking Dead' Season 2: Deleted Scene Features Zombie Invasion (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

"The Walking Dead" is returning to AMC this fall, but in the meantime, there's a bit of never-before-seen flesh-eating footage to sink your teeth into.

The "Walking Dead" Season 2 deleted scene (above) opens with a zombie invasion and closes with a shooting that does away with every zombie in sight. So long, suckers!

Season 3 (premiering Sun., Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC) won't be any less full of flesh eaters, but it will introduce the skilled zombie-killer Michonne, played by Danai Gurira.

"Initially, learning the sword was challenging," Gurira told Vulture at Comic-Con. "I started to take natural vitamins, tart cherry pills. Very good for the joints and the muscles. I didn’t know if I was going to be able to do what Michonne has to do in 100 degree heat, but with those pills, I’m fine."

Catch "The Walking Dead" premiere on Sun., Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
