Marie-Pier Boudreau Gagnon is a synchronized swimmer from the province of Quebec, one half of a team that represented Canada in the duets event at 2012 London Olympics. She's also one of the best memes to come out of the pool. If you spend 6 seconds on anything today, make sure it's this video.

While this slow-motion dub is pretty funny, some of the facts behind the Canadian team's routine are just as entertaining.

Entitled "The Jester," the duet's program borrowed from slapstick and Cirque du Soleil, and was meant as a homage to and spoof of Queen Elizabeth, according to the Toronto Star. Apparently, the audience loved it. The judges, not so much.
