John Slattery's Style Evolution: From Moustache Maven To 'Mad Men' Silver Fox

Can You Spy This 'Mad Men' Star's Annual Moustache?

'Mad Men' star John Slattery went gray in his twenties, and while the actor and director claims to dye his hair when he's not swamped with filming, he's pretty much always been a silver fox. As advertising agency partner Roger Sterling on the AMC hit alongside co-stars Christina Hendricks and January Jones, one things for sure—Slattery looks good in a suit.

Luckily, his earlier roles as a politician in 'Sex and the City' and 'Desperate Housewives' kept him looking perfectly tailored on all occasions. While he suits up on the red carpet, Slattery, who enjoys surfing on his free time, told New York Daily News that he doesn't get dressed up unless it's for work, and prefers looser fitting pants. Looking back at the GQ cover guy's style over the years, we see he even once threw a pair of Adidas sandals into the mix. And you can't help but ignore his occasional thick moustache and heavy beard, which has been showing up more these days.

To celebrate John Slattery's 50th birthday on Monday (August 13th), we're taking a look back at his evolving style. Do you prefer him fresh-faced or with scruffy facial hair?
