"The Bourne Legacy" star Jeremy Renner has made it clear what he thinks about the Kardashians, calling them "ridiculous people with zero talent who spend their lives making sure everyone knows their name," and adding that they are "stupid, stupid people." But now Kim is fighting back, letting her friends defend her.
"I love how people use Kim to promote their projects," family friend Jonathan Cheban tells me, referring to Renner's new role in the Bourne franchise. "Matt Damon would never pull this nonsense; that's because he is an A-lister."
Renner joins a growing list of Hollywood's leading men who share a disdain of the first family of reality TV: "James Bond" actor Daniel Craig, Jonah Hill and "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm have all preceded Jeremy when it comes to hating on Kim.
"People need to give it up," says Cheban. "It's embarrassing for an actor to attack a hard-working girl who makes way more money than him."
