Boy/girl/it's a surprise? It's a girl! Graceyn Noelle.
Mom: How did you tell him you were pregnant?
I didn't have to. He told me he thought I was pregnant based on my sudden craving for salty and sour stuff. He bought the test and guess what? He was right. I guess he is a husband that pays close attention to his wife.
Dad: What were your first thoughts when you heard the news?
I was in disbelief that I was finally about to be a dad.
What are you looking forward to most about being a mom and dad?
Watching her grow and develop. Sharing all the great things we've learned from our experiences, parents and other wonderful people.
What's your biggest fear about parenting?
Sheltering her too much and not letting her learn for herself and experience life.
What's the worst/best advice you've gotten about being pregnant?
Lol. Don't raise your arms or else the umbilical cord will wrap around the baby's neck. I raise my arms so much by habit and so far she is fine. Guess that's why it's called an old southern wives' tale.
Best advice? Enjoy the time with just you and your significant other because it will never be just the two of you again.
What message do you want these photos to convey to your baby to be?
She is the apple of our eye and the best gift that we could have ever received. We feel so fortunate that we have been chosen to be her parents.
