Gloria Borger, Paul Krugman, Jake Tapper Pop Up In New Obama Ad (VIDEO)

WATCH: More Journalists Showing Up In Political Ads

Journalists complaining about being used in campaign ads won't be happy about a new video the Obama campaign has put out.

The video, which attacks Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan's Medicare policies, is composed almost entirely of clips from news shows. CNN's Gloria Borger, Paul Krugman, ABC's Jake Tapper and a slew of local anchors and cable news talking heads all make appearances over the spot's minute-and-a-half-long running time.

It's one in an increasingly long line of political ads that use the media to make their points. The most recent trend gained attention all the way back in January, when Tom Brokaw pleaded publicly with the Romney camp to remove an ad that was solely made up of a clip of his newscast. Since then, MSNBC and CBS journalists have also featured in spots, much to the dismay of the people in the ads.

So far, the complaints have fallen on deaf ears, as Wednesday's video shows.
