Except that "Medicare Advantage" doesn't work today. It is the most inefficient, fraud-ridden, over-subsidized part of Medicare today.

The GOP blathers on about "cutting waste and inefficiency", yet they treat the most inefficient part of Medicare with kid gloves.

Paul Ryan believes that we live in an Ayn Rand's novel and he fantasizes with being John Galt; the truth is Paul Ryan went to PUBLIC college using social security money that he got after his father died and he has spent all his life after college in DC working as Aide, Speechwriter or congressman; so, in the alternate and sociopathic universe of Ayn Rand, Paul Ryan would be a parasite or, best case scenario, Paul Ryan is Wesley Mouch.

Personal opinion..............

Both Romney and Ryan have come out against "Obamacare" on the grounds that it is "Socialized healthcare". They have already stated that if elected, they will repeal it.

New's flash...................Medicare is socialized healthcare.

Which would tend to make one believe that if they think "socialized medicine" is bad, that it MUST be repealed..............

Medicare must be bad and should be repealed as well.

After a relatively long life time I have learned NOT to put too much credence in what politicians say.

Actions speak louder than words, more honestly as well.

They ain't out to "save" medicare.

They just want to make it "profitable" for someone.

I encourage any Florida homeowner to see how easy it is to get insurance on your house without paying an arm and leg anda few other appendages. So, you can easily imagine how much fun you wlll have walking around with a voucher in your hand trying to get any kind of health coverage at all. I am 70. I have Medicare and it is no trouble at all. I would like to think that everyone will enjoy this blessed benefit when they are my age. If I had to go searching for insurance my quality of life would drop about 80%. Don't be fooled. The Ryan-Romney plan is a nightmare.

People in Florida know and like two things. Their Medicare and their Social Security!! Voucher Ryan and Bishop Romney want to change both. Voucher Ryan wants to change Medicare into a VOUCHER system contriolledd by the Health Insurance Companies. How much coverage do you think your voucher is going to be worth with those barracudas in charge.??

Then he wants to privatize Social Security. Let Insurance companies run it. Who do you think is goingtogain in that new relationship??

If I were a Republican or undecided i think I would want to check his past voting record before believing what he says he stands for. Changing your beliefs on one or two issues is understandable but changing them on every issue should be not only sending up red flags but flashing lights and distress flares.
