Footage of journalist Mika Yamamoto's last hours before she was killed in Syria was released on Wednesday.

Yamamoto was a veteran war correspondent for the Japan Press. On Tuesday, she was shot dead in a gunfight between Syrian rebels and government forces in Aleppo. She had been traveling with the Free Syrian Army when a group of people in camouflage fatigues approached and began shooting.

On Wednesday, The Guardian posted a clip of her final footage. It shows the last events she filmed, as well as her reporting on the conflict.

She is seen telling the camera that her team was heading to the front lines to investigate new damage, and speaking to a family with a baby.
