What Is The Best Novel Ever Written? (VOTE)

Posted: Updated:

Our spurious 'Best Novel Of All Time' competition, with more than 1,100 comments, is now OVER! And the winner is (drumroll, please): "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee.

"Gastby" went in the first round. "Ulysses" was knocked out in the final eight. "Moby Dick" was speared in Round Three.
The final two were "Great Expectations" against "To Kill A Mockingbird." A Miss Havisham vs. Atticus Finch Deathmatch.

"To Kill a Mockingbird" came out on top (much as we expected from our "Mockingbird" loving readers.

Is it the best novel of all time? We imagine the critics would say "Definitely not" as it didn't even make most critics' lists for top 100 novels.

However, you, the people, have spoken. Atticus Finch forever! Hip, hip hooray!

Was "To Kill a Mockingbird" NOT your choice? What would you have liked to see win? Let us know in the comments!
