In the penultimate episode of "Haunted Collector" (Wed, 9 p.m. ET on Syfy), a family's dream home quickly became a nightmare when they realized they were not alone. Even worse for the parents, it was their young daughters who seemed to be the most impacted by whatever being was lurking in the home.
It has long been theorized that children are more receptive to spectral presences, and that theory was certainly supported by this family's claims. They showed pictures that their daughters had drawn of a scary man they said they could see in the house, coming through the walls.
The Connecticut home was centuries old and had seen its fair share of deaths. There were even suicides that reportedly happened in the home, so there was plenty of opportunity for ghosts to take up residence.
The team found a small Italian horn amulet that seemed to glow on its own, and removed it from the home. Since then, the family has reported that things have calmed down tremendously.
The season finale of "Haunted Collector" airs next Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Syfy.
