Earlier this month gymnast, Gabby Douglas, made Olympic history as she became the first African-American to win a gold medal in the all-around competition. The feat has not only catapulted the 16-year-old Virginia native into the record books, it has also garnered the attention from various media outlets including the Oprah Winfrey Network.
This Sunday Douglas will appear on an episode of 'Oprah’s Next Chapter' alongside her mother, Natalie; her three siblings; and her coach, Liang Chow as she discuss an array of topics including the whirlwind of coverage that surrounded the appearance of her hair during the 2012 Olympics.
Check out a sneak peek from the episode, which airs on at 8:30 PM/EST on OWN, above.
