David Letterman spent most of his opening monologue on Thursday sarcastically pummeling the GOP, taking shots at Todd Akin, Kevin Yoder, Paul Ryan, "Mitch Romney", Bush/Cheney and Chris Christie. He also took a moment to make the joke that every single liberal has had on the tip of their tongues since Tropical Storm Isaac first made news.
