It's finally the week we've all been waiting for: The Republican National Convention, when Mitt Romney shall officially be named Crown Prince of the GOP. The electricity is in the air!
Actually, that's just the inclement weather conditions. Hurricane Isaac has forced Republicans in Tampa to face yet another roadblock to the White House, but luckily, all the comedy shows that sent correspondents down there will use it to their advantage.
One such contributor is Andy Kindler, stand-up comic and frequent Letterman correspondent. He checked in with Dave last night to give a quick update on the problems in Florida (hurricanes, plagues, Karl Rove, etc.), and debuted his impression of a Republican watching a Romney speech.
Check out the clip above, and let us know in the comments what you're looking forward to seeing at the GOP convention this week.
