We've been covering the style of the 2012 political players ad nauseam here on HuffPost Style. Mitt Romney's jeans? Paul Ryan's cowboy boots? Michelle Obama's color wheel of dresses? Check, check, check.

But what we're finding even more interesting is the style of politics' grassroots gang: the men and women who stream to the big summer conventions in hopes of glimpsing their favorite political stars (and maybe making a statement of their own). We sent photographer Tony Stamolis down to Tampa, Florida, to the 2012 Republican Convention to scope out what the GOP's VIPs (and #1 fans) are wearing at the summer's hottest conservative convocation.
