This one might stick with Pablo Armero for a while.
With his side leading, 1-0, in a Champions League playoff match against Braga on Tuesday, the Udinese defender received a beautiful pass behind the last defender, setting up a one-on-one opportunity against the goalkeeper.
Armero, who scored the first goal of the game in the 25th minute, lost his footing as he went to take a shot with his left foot and fell forward. The tumble allowed the goalie to jump on the ball.
It would turn out that Udinese could have used a second goal from Armero, as Braga midfielder Ruben Micael scored the equalizer in the 72nd minute. Braga would go on to win 5-4 at penalties, clinching a group stage berth.
