Just days after the birth of her son, Snooki is already receiving offers from magazine and photo agencies to secure exclusive right to images of her new baby -- the sale of which could net her as much as $250,000.
“There is great interest in seeing what Snooki’s son looks like,” one magazine editor tells me. “She has never been a great seller in the past, but who doesn’t want to see if her little meatball looks like his famous mom? I expect the bidding war could go as high as $250,000, with several outlets bidding against each other and raising the price.”
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, who have sold exclusive wedding and honeymoon pictures in the past, recently decided not to sell their baby pictures, instead giving them away to fans on their website. However, if magazines want to run the images, they have been asked to buy them. Proceeds from the photo sales will benefit Fresh Air Fund Camp, an organization with which Mariah has been involved for more than 20 years.
