Give Darnell credit for trying, but even his young daughter Baily didn't seem all that thrilled with his idea to spray paint one of her dresses. The men not only have to learn to deal with life without their wives on "The Week the Women Went," but they've also been told they must throw a beauty pageant for their daughters at the end of the week.
So Darnell tried to get creative with Bailey's dress. Only his idea of creativity and the kind of creativity that goes into fashion design couldn't be further from one another. At least his buddy Doug was supportive.
"Honestly, it’s not that terrible," he said, which isn't the most glowing of compliments. A writer for SheKnews took it one step further, writing "Darnell has to make the dress for the pageant and it looks pretty terrible."
Luckily, by the end of the episode, the show brings in dresses for the girls to choose from for the pageant. If only somebody could have tipped Darnell off before he ruined Bailey's dress with his spray paint and other odd additions.
"The Week the Women Went" continues on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
