'America's Got Talent': Three Acts Move On To The Finals (VIDEO)

'America's Got Talent': Which Three Moved On?

"America's Got Talent" got down to the business of picking its finalists from this first batch of semi-finalists. It was the end of the road for a lot of fan-favorites, including goth opera singer Andrew De Leon, mind reader Eric Dittelman and dancer Turf.

To make things more confusing, Nick Cannon first announced which four acts scored the highest number of votes. Later, though, it would be determined which three out of those four would make it through to the final round. Two based on America's vote would make it, with the third coming from judges' choice.

The first through was musician William Close, who never ceases to amaze with his Earth harp. He was followed by stand-up comic Tom Cotter, leaving the judges to choose between dog ventriloquist Todd Oliver and sand artist Joe Castillo. Either way, based on online support, they were going to be making a pretty big fanbase pretty unhappy.

In the end, Oliver was sent home, as Castillo and his sand moved on to the finals.

The next round of "America's Got Talent" semi-finals kick off next Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET with results held over until Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
