Kristin Chenoweth is back on "The Good Wife" after an on-set neck injury forced her to temporarily leave the show.

Chenoweth tweeted Friday that she returned to the set to shoot a scene with Alan Cumming:

The Emmy-winning actress was injured on the set of the CBS legal and political drama in July when she was hit on the head by a piece of falling scaffolding.

Chenoweth had previously announced that her injury would prevent her from returning to the show, telling People, "It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to 'The Good Wife.' [I'm] getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern."

Chenoweth booked a recurring "Good Wife" role in June as a political reporter investigating Peter Florrick's campaign.

"The Good Wife" Season 4 premieres Sun., Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
