What makes a good southern tailgate? B.B.Q.? Special and seasonal mixed drinks? Let's agree it takes more than a few light beers and wieners on the grill. How can you show school pride if you don't take your rituals seriously?

Southern Living Magazine is hosting a contest to determine which school has the best southern tailgate. Is it Auburn which has a "an entire Wikipedia page devoted to pregame rituals?" Or McDaniel College the site of "the nation’s only drive-in stadium?" Only you can decide! Check out Southern Living for more information about the schools and vote for your favorite!

In the meantime, view our slide show of the schools that exemplify all that is good in southern tailgating tradition.
