Princesses grow up so fast, don't they? It feels like just yesterday that Princess Eugenie graduated from Newcastle University, but now she's found a new way to declare her adulthood: she wore a sexy LBD.

The 22-year-old attended the Freddie For A Day charity event at London's Savoy Hotel on Monday wearing a very grown-up black mini dress, blazer and nude pumps. The fundraiser, in honor of what would have been the Queen frontman's 66th birthday, not only raised money for AIDS but also inspired some fantastic homages to the late singer's flamboyant style. And even though we were slightly disappointed that Eugenie didn't opt for a Freddie Mercury-inspired ensemble (or, at the very least, a stick-on mustache), we have to say that Eugenie is looking great. The hair, the makeup, the tan, the earrings... all perfection.

This hasn't always been the case though (see her outfit from last year's Freddie Mercury event for proof). The princess and her sister Beatrice got a lot of flak for their questionable attire at the royal wedding last year, so Eugenie's streamlined look is even more of a pleasant change. As for Sarah Ferguson who attended the event with her daughter... she looked fine minus the matching butterfly heels and clutch. Perhaps next time she'll ask for Eugenie's fashion advice.
