Is it just us or is Al Roker getting sassier? He made a crack about Fox News on Wednesday's "Today."

His quip came after a discussion of Michelle Obama's appearance at the Democratic national convention Tuesday night. The First Lady's speech brought people to their feet, and her outfit got accolades too. Of particular note was her gray nail polish, which Natalie Morales said was sure to "spark a craze."

Guest co-host Tamron Hall added that her nail salon has a similar shade called "Fair and Balanced."

"But you can only put it on your right hand," Al quipped, referring to Fox News' slogan.

The anchor has drawn more attention than usual in the past month. In August, he joked about throwing each other "under the bus" at "Today," which was widely interpreted as commentary about Ann Curry's exit from the show. NBC spoke out denying those reports.

More recently, he had a very odd moment on the show. He explained it later, but concluded his piece with another strange quip.
