Before he got involved with drug kingpin Walter White (Bryan Cranston), Aaron Paul was just a kid who had to have his pops.

In a 1999 Corn Pops cereal commercial (above) a big-haired Paul is craving breakfast in a big way.

"Man, all I wanna do is eat ... gotta have my pops!" he says.

13 years later, Paul has come a long way from campaigning for breakfast cereal. In fact, he's getting ready to say goodbye to "Breaking Bad," one of the most popular shows on TV.

"It's kind of hard for me to swallow," he told GQ. "When I first started, I just wanted to work. I wouldn't necessarily do anything, but I'd pretty much almost do anything at the very beginning. And then the more I started to work, the pickier I became, and now with this show that I'm working on now, it's just -- it's hard to say yes to projects. 'Breaking Bad,' I've never been more proud."

The final eight episodes of "Breaking Bad" will air next summer.
