Walter White's getting the 2D treatment.

In Martin Woutisseth's revamp of the "Breaking Bad" theme (above), we get to see cartoon versions of Walt (Bryan Cranston), Skyler (Anna Gunn), Jesse (Aaron Paul) and the rest of the cast in comic-like visuals ... and the effect is mesmerizing.

The first half of the final season of "Breaking Bad" was an intense one, from Walt's adventures as drug kingpin of New Mexico to Todd (Jesse Plemons) killing an innocent child.

"It's always the unexpected guy," Plemons said of his brutal murder this season. "It's not like, 'Oh, he's the guy that shoots people.' It's like, 'He's the guy that you would not expect to shoot someone.' I don't know.'"

The final 8 episodes of "Breaking Bad" will air in Summer 2013.
